Disneyland Paris Here We Come

Well what an amazing few days!
Eve has been totally bowled over by so many events.
We started out on Wednesday with her really sleepy. She slept all morning, was asleep when the taxi came and still asleep when we got off the train in London. I was beginning to panic a little.
However when we laid her on the bed in the hotel to stretch out before dinner she woke up and then had a happy smiley evening at Nandos and settled into a happy sleep once we got back.
David and Joshua were able to watch the England Ireland match in their room whilst us girls took the opportunity of an early night.
Thursday morning we woke early. I was awake from 5 but Christina and Eve were awake before 6.30. We had time to leisurely dress, repack the things we had needed that night and set up Eve's feed before heading down to breakfast.
We had done a test walk to Eurostar check in the night before so we knew where we were going and how long it would take. The gentleman we spoke to had said we would not need to unload all Eve's medical bags for security. However on the morning we did have to. So I was glad we had allowed a good hour before departure. Loading her chair back up was a nightmare.
Then the assistance forgot us. So we ended up having to make our own way down to the train. That wasn't too bad in reality but had raised my anxiety a bit. (Being a worrier I had been a bit stressed about this bit anyway).
It was wonderful to eventually be on the Eurostar and able to relax.
We had plenty of space as the 3 seats alongside ours were all free.
To our surprise a continental breakfast was served not long after we left St Pancras. Croissant, rolls and Choc au Pain. With Coffe or tea and soft drinks or cocoa for the children.
Eve had Disney Junior playing on her iPad all the way there. And was very excited every time Christina told her we were on our way to Mickey Mouses House.
Just about half an hour before we reached Disneyland the heavens opened. And so it was a very wet arrival.
The signposting at Marne La Val was very poor. So we got quite lost trying to find the hotel. David and Christina were at their lowest point at this time as they were managing the worst of the luggage.
So it was a huge relief to finally find the Newport Bay Club. Once we found reception and the lady recognised we were with Make a Wish everyone was wonderful.
We could not have asked anymore of them at all. Everything was explained clearly. We were given all of the tickets and vouchers. The lady booking us in rang through to Cafe Mickey to plead with them to Squeese us in as they were already fully booked for the whole of our stay. They told us to get there for 6pm that night And they would fit us in.
Then they got a bell boy to bring a trolley for our luggage and took us to our rooms.
We were on the fifth floor and the rooms were just around the corner from the lift. So very easy access
As it was still raining we decided to let Eve stretch out on the bed whilst we unpacked. The oxygen man came whilst we were unpacking and between my schoolgirl French and his English we managed to understand each other enough for me to understand how the liquid oxygen works. I like it. It would be so much easier at home.
Then the sun came out and at 5.30 we set out to walk into the Disney village and find Cafe Mickey.
Eve's face, her excitement and smiles with all the characters was worth all the stress of the passports the worry over her health and the weariness of the day.
(The food was abysmal and never worth the 164 euros. But hey her smiles were!)
Dinner over we wandered round the shops and Eve chose a Mickey and a Minnie Mouse which she has barely let go of since. She and Christina bought autograph books and we looked at the other restaurants before heading back to the hotel to sleep.
