18 years ago you made your presence felt on Mothers day 17th March 1990. It ws a few days before your extra chromosome was discovered and your Mummy and Daddy felt they could not cope. You went to live with a family who had two children and were visited by social services who looked for a hom for you. thankfully our social workerfound you and told us about you. we had lost Luke a few months earlier and desperately wanted another baby. You were just over 6 months old when you came to live with us. a cheekey litle boy with big brown eyes.
Since the day we brought you home you have fought through so many desperate battles and come through smiling.
Today you turn 18 a day we never thought we would see on many occasions.
so Happy Birthday our precious son. Wish we could have shared it with your birth family too I hope they are not too broken hearted as they recall your birth and realise you are now officially a young man!
