A new year. Blogging

It's been so long since I wrote here. Life has been happening in our house, so much so I rarely even think of blogging it.
Now I want to change that. Record the Life in our House and beyond.

January 1st 2016

For a few years this has traditionally been a day to meet up with precious friends.
In 2012/13 it involved them retrieving us from hospital and joining us at home for New Years Day Dinner.
A couple of days earlier there had been an amazing reunion of good friends partying in Eve's hospital bed.
This year there was a precious girl missing from our reunion. A huge hole left in our lives but a very real presence in our hearts and minds.
2016 starts without the beautiful Imogen, the big grin, the feet keep coming ng out to show you her new shoes, the shout for attention when her hand has slipped from the grip of her great friend, the beautiful beautiful girl who was such a big part of our family life is at last present with her Jesus.
Whilst our hearts break Imi is celebrating and singing in that heavenly choir.
It is a tribute to the faith of her great friends Leroy and Eve that they so obviously understand her joy, it would seem, more so than they understand our sorrow.
Our thoughts and prayers and love are so much with Tia and Amana. Such difficult times, such an emotional roller coaster and such heartache.
Praising God for the assurance of His perfect plan in His perfect time, for the assurance that we do not grieve as those without faith, the certain hope of eternity.
But still that aching longing.

So we spent our New Years Day together. No tears but quiet understanding. So much love. Much happiness. The Joy of Christian sisters fellowshipping together in love.
