So many Friends in need of Prayer

Nothing brings your own problems more into perspective than knowing someone else is hurting!

God wants us to pray for one another and to ask others to pray for us. I do enough of the latter and try to do the former as often as I can.

Right now there are so many people I love who are hurting or in need of prayer for one thing or another.

A dear friend in Church has just said her final goodbyes to her beloved husband. There were many answers to prayer and much witness through the last hours of his life, prayer also for the Nurses that were present with them at the end and who witnessed the wonder of God's love, Grace Mercy and Peace in action. Of course prayer for his wife who although certain of the fact that he is now in Glory is never the less broken hearted that he is no longer at her side. With Christ which is very far better indeed yet still leaves that aching void in our hearts...May God's love and peace fill her as she adjust to life without him.

Another dear friend recovering from the shock of a motor accident, afraid to contemplate getting back in her car, so troubled with the results of this accident finding it hard to leave the house. Please pray with me that she can have a very real sense of God's arms around her. Our Almighty God is more than able to turn even this into an opportunity for His glory to abound.
The words of one of my favourite Hymns seem appropriate.
I do not know what lies ahead the way I cannot see
But one stands near to be my guide He'll show the way to me.

For I know who holds the Future and my life is in His hands,
With God things dont just happen, everything by Him is planned.
So as I face tomorrow with it's problems large and small.
I'll trust the God of Miracles, Give to Him my all.

Another friend has deep concerns for her daughter, meanwhile her son faces difficulties not of his own making neither are going to be easy to solve. Life is not easy for their family right now and I pray that she may rediscover her relationship with God and be able to trust once more in His love for her.

Yet another friend struggling with her faith, her Church family letting her down badly, may she find peace and support and love and acceptance in a congregation more welcoming to the family.

A friend close enough to be my daughter/sister/best friend facing a year long move away not only from home but from the country, despite much searching and application has yet to find somewhere to live. Faced with the prospect of flying out to a strange country, knowing noone and having to then seek accomodation. Her faith that God will provide is phenomenal but still an underlying anxiety of how this will pan out. Of course her family must also have some degree of anxiety for her safety and wellbeing. The whole family is in our prayers and we pray for them to know God's perfect peace.

there are numerous other issues affecting many other friends, hard to put in words some of the needs and difficult to give brief descriptions, So grateful that God knows all our needs before ever we ask them, often just lifting a friends name before Him and knowing He is ALL KNOWING. Almight, All loving.
