D you are a Gem!

D you came into our lives by recomendation....only I am not sure if we were recommended to you or you to us...whichever we are glad you came.

You bring a breath of fresh air with you every day you come, and leave us smiling every day you leave.

Rosie thinks you are hillarious...I am sorry if she gives you no respect...Rosie doesn't really do respect, everything and everyone exists to meet her needs and satisfy her wants....mind you after 3 months I guess you know that!

I havent noticed you upset or put off or repulsed by anthing being Rosie's carer has thrown at you.....nor by anything Rosie has thrown at you for that matter. Lets be honest, most things she has every picked up have probably been thrown at you at some point!

Besides your obvious and genuine love of Rosie you have endeared yourself to Christina, she sees you as another favourite Aunt. Christina doesnt get to see her real Aunts often, so it is a vacancy you are welcome to fill. I have to say you have found a niche in mine and David's hearts too. Like I said, whatever befalls during the day you always leave us with a smile.

It doesnt matter what we need you to do you are happy to do it! Well with the exception perhaps of helping David paint the ceilings....but then if you were doing that Rosie would have been painting footprints round the house so maybe it was a good idea you didnt! Being prepared to come before the girls get home to help with some cleaning was a real help...is a real help, continues to be a massive help. I have clean bathrooms again!

Even though you are keen to help out with whatever needs doing you always know that Rosie's needs come first! Never do you leave Rosie to do something else and allow Rosie to get into mischief. Even if it means abandoning the coffee half way through, or leaving a floor half mopped. Rosie is intercepted and redirected and if need be the other work is just abandoned....that is how it should be, our first need is for Rosie to be cared for.

Duplo! You never tire of Duplo....I think you and Rosie must have a special Duplo Gene! Even when it come to retrieving it from under and down the side of Rosie's bed, you keep on going till it all is out and packed away ready for the next mini city to be built.

It soon became a standing joke that The Emmerdale Theme tune was your gloing home song...so entrenched now are we in the Emmerdale tune that the kids will turn the telly over, and Rosie will fetch your coat...you sign the Diary with your hours spent and off you go to the Tune of Emmerdale.

You made me laugh again today, despite everying....telling us that when at home and you here the tune it is like Pavlov's bell....you put your coat on scribble on the wall and leave the house!

D! we love having you, you have made a huge difference here and we hope to keep you a long time!
