Thank you for those who felt led to pray for this young man and his family. They still need our prayers.
What a vast improvement we saw in Steve today. Praise God for a positive answer to all our prayers.
The consultant saw him today and actually told Steve that they nearly lost him. I think that sobering thought is enough to make anyone determined to follow the regime rigidly. The cause of this onset of diabetes is nothing that could have been prevented but something that could happen to anyone and just happens quickly and without any warning.
The drips were stopped late last night and he is now on insulin injections only. J (His Mum) did manage to meet the diabetic nurse who was most helpful. It's quite a bit to take in but we will get there. Steve's sugar levels are still too high and at present is still being monitored.
We are so glad he is feeling better and wish we could get to give him all the love and hugs we wish him in prson.
