Some Thoughts For Prayer

Our Carer's Mum had a stroke two nights ago. I havent heard from them since yesterday but things were not sounding good. Please pray for the whole family.

I have two very dear friends who both have a need that the other could fill. It isnt as simple as it sounds there will be a lot of Red Tape to deal with to make it work out. Pray for God's hand in this.

This weekend is the CdLS Foundation Conference in Swindon. Jonathan and Rosie are going to the Hospice. There was some very kind people made this happen for us. Praise God for them. However this also means that David has to drive from home to Grimsby, an hour and a half at least. Then from Grimsby to Swindon, around 41/2 hours. Please pray for Journeying Mercies for us all. My girls do not travel well, non of them. So far everyone is fairly healthy pray it stays that way for the weekend. Jonathan is anxious about the weekend, please pray he copes and has a good time dispelling his anxiety about being away from home.

Then there is the conference. This will be the first since the change of Chairperson and other changes within the CdLS Foundation. Pray that God will be guiding the Foundation forward and that it will remain the wonderful goup it has always been, welcoming supportive and informative. Prayer for us as we are all seperated and away from home, away from familiar support networks. We are planning a family meal on Saturday night with David's mum and Sister and her family. Prayer that will be a joyful time and that Eve will cope with an evening out after a day of conference.

We have started a new carer this week. A young girl with a huge heart. Rosie and Eve love her already. Pray please that this will be a lasting and blessed relationship. The family is local and a family on my heart for some time. Pray God's blessing on them and us and the children too.

Whilst I am asking for prayer for Carers, we have not yet found a replacement for Jonathan's carer. Jonathan misses his time out with Simon greatly. Please pray that this need is filed for Him in God's perfect time and perfect way.
