All kinds of Everything!

The weekend kicked off bright and sunny...David had to go fetch the bus and then we planned a trip out to Boston. Daddy has to try and sort out glasses that he can see through for alevntualties! This getting old lark is a bit of a nuisance you know. He has on pair of glasses for distanc and another for reading...then he has aspare reading pair inthe car. So ho is it hecan still lose the ones he wants 2,000,000 times a day?

Anyway, David collects the carer on his way home and we all pileinto the bus and head off to Boston. Leaving David and Jonathan to head for Specsavers th rest of us head of round theoutdoor market. First stop the fruit and veg stall...oh and what lovely peoplrun this stall...the kids ended up with lots of fruit to try and i ws advised against the £1.20a lb plums in favour of the 80p greenages and they certainly made a gorgeous crumble!

We wandred along the aisles and picked upa few othr bargains before heading to the coffee shop of the department store....thankfully timed it well to claim the easy accessible 8 seater table, son after we arrived and purchased our drink Daddy and Jonathan joined us for us all tosit and sup together. We opted against the lunch at £5.95 each and settled for a KFC eaten on the riverbank, Jonathan and Rosie boh had chips from the cealiac friendly chipshop...Jonathan had a fish cake too these weren't gluten free though.

It was 2.45 bfore we got home, Eve was shattered and settled to sleep Rosie was happy to build her bricks for a while and the rest of the gang set about homwork and tackling the work in the garden. before long Rosie was attacking me with her swimming things and so we enjoyd an hour in the hot tub, Taking things slowly I headed Rosie from hot tub to bath and eeked out bedtime rituals to have her asking for bed at 7pm! This meant we could enjoy our eveningmeal without Rosie helping!

Sunday morning was ushered in early with Eve's help...I managed to get three loads of washing through the washer andtwo on the line before 8am...alsomanaged to have some fun with the socks...37 pairs of socks and 21 odd ones. all bore the rest of the family merged to stat the day...Rosie Eve and I enjoyed the relative peace before they all descended.
THe morning continued in uncharacteristic calmness and smooth flowing esential happnngs until we were all in the bus by 9.45....without a cross word!

it was a lovely service at Church. Rosie was a bit of a tinker ensuring that she had spoken to every person in the congregation and sat on fair few laps before the little ones left for junior church. Much to my embarassment sheeven maaged to tear the cover off one ladies Bible...I ws morified but she assured me not to worry!

The service continued with a time of sharing and prayerand praise. i love this time of the sevice when we can request prayer, share concerns and joys.

The messge o he service was:- Prayer energises Evangelism. looking at compassion for those who do not know Christ...nedingto share the free gift ofeternallife with those around us. Knowing the wages of sin are death...but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus.

I thought on the fact that my assurance of eternal life is grounded totally on the fact that what Jesus did for me at Calvary was enough...nothing I can do can enhance i or detractfrom it...His sacrifice was suffiecent...His Grace is sufficient....His love and compassion are complete....

Onhe way home from Church we were listening to Burl Ives and the Korean Orphan choir.....they were singing Down From His Glory.....the chorus says
Oh how I love Him, how I adore him...my breath my sunshine. my all in all.
The Great Creator, became my Saviour, and all God's glory dwelleth in me.

Oh How I love Him, How I adore Him.....
